Welcome to Nepal! As your flight lands at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you shall be greeted and welcomed appropriately by a representative of Conqueri trek and expedition pvt.ltd at the airport terminal. After that, you shall be escorted to a private vehicle for a drive to your respective hotel where you can take some rest. Later you have the option to take a stroll around the areas nearby your hotel. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Today we have scheduled an entire day for a sightseeing tour around the UNESCO World Heritage Sites sited all across the valley. After having our breakfast, we shall visit the holy Buddhist shrines of Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. Boudhanath is considered one of the largest stupas in the world and Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple) is one of the oldest ancient stupas in Nepal. Moving on we shall visit the sacred site of Pashupatinath, a very significant site for Hindu people. Later we shall also explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square & Bhaktapur Durbar Square. In the evening, we meet our guide and associates for preparation of our upcoming trekking to Annapurna Circut.
It is almost 238km Jeep drive from Kathmandu to Chame Manang Via Besisahar. Its blacktop road until besisahar of 173Km about 5 hours and rough road from Besisahar to Chame Manang 65Km, about 4 hour. We recommend you take a strong 4wheels Jeep for our trip to Chame Manang. experience driver from Kathmandu to Chame Manang. Due to rough road condition it will disturb you to trekking from Besisahar to Chame so we suggest you to take a jeep drive entire trip up to Chame Manang. There are many touristic places while we drive to Chame Manang, You may ask your drive to stop for a nice picture of the Beautiful local villages, Waterfalls, some snowcapped Himalayas. There are tourist targeted stop points where we can buy foods and drinks while we drive to Chame Manang.
Waking up with the views of Annapurna and Langtang mountain ranges, we shall enjoy our breakfast and afterward continue heading towards Upper Pisang for our overnight stay tonight. So at the beginning of our trek today, we shall pass through several rivers and climb up from Chame village. Bypassing through a village called Taleku, we head towards Bartang by crossing a bridge. From this point onward we shall try and make a climb further up. Traversing on a path with dramatic curved rock faces above the rivers, we shall reach Upper Pisang which is situated at an altitude of 3,300 meters above sea level. Stay overnight at Upper Pisang
Ngawal (Nawal) is a village development committee in Manang District in the Gandaki Zone of northern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 274. Ngawal VDC is one of the Seven Village Development Committee in Upper Manang. One of the main attraction of this village is a centuries-old cave of Guru Rinpoche that is on the hills overlooking Ngawal village. The local people believes the cave leads to Mustang. And a monastery in Tibetan Nyingma pa sect which is called Portoche Monastery Reaching a mani wall we cross another swing bridge, knowing we have made it to the infamous hill to the village of Ghyaru. The trail zigzags nearly thirty times steeply up the side of the mountain. It takes over an hour to climb this small section alone! It is an extremely steep ascent with plenty of water breaks. This seemingly never-ending climb eventually does, having passed the numerous electricity lines connecting this village to the outside world. At the top we a greeted by a local lady selling apple pies for $0.80 USD / 100NRS each. She certainly knows how to cater to the needs of us trekkers and the pie is absolutely delicious. Luckily, it provides some much-needed energy allowing us to continue along the trail and reach to Gyaru. Ghyaru is located at 3730 meters above sea level with picturesque views of Annapurna II, IV and III. This typical village of the Manang area is full of beautiful homes made of stone with flat roofs. It is truly a beautiful place to have a much-needed rest having just climbed a straight 300 meters. Though, the views here in Ghyaru certainly make it worth the effort after lunch we continue to Ngawal this day can feel altitude sickness but the views are such a great then walking from lower pisang to Manang..
This day we start to hike after breakfast toward the Beautiful Manang village. During hiking we can view of Annapurna himal, Ganggapurna, Chulu east with crossing by greenery pine trees.
Today after breakfast we hike up to 4200mtrs next to Ganggapurna lake and back to Manang for acclimatization to prepare Thorong pass . Visit around Manang village
We will follow the narrow path to Tenki village (3620m) that locates above Manang. Taking brief ascent, we will head northwest up the valley of Jarsang River. We will head north and pass through a trail lined with juniper trees to reach Gunsang (3930m). We will walk through the alpine meadow. We get to see Gangapurna (7454m) and Annapurna III (7555m) Mountains from most of the point. We will descend to Yak Kharka and continue to Leder.
After breakfast we will follow the ascending trail to Jarsang River. Walking along the eastern edge of Jarsang river, we will ascend to Thorong Phedi (4450m). This small settlement got its name from its geographical position which translates as Base of Thorong Hill. We continue to hike up to high camp about 400 meters but if you feel altitude sickness then we stay overnight in Thorong Phedi for Option.
We will begin the long climb to the top of Thorong La. Following the cattle trail through moraine and snow, we will reach the top of the pass in about 4hrs depending upon the weather condition and strength of climbers. The summit is festooned with prayer flags. We will rejoice the views of Kali Gandaki Valley to the west while we can get a view of Yakgawa Kang Peak (6481m) to the north. Sharp descend from Thorong La will take us to Muktinath temple. The journey is rewarding with views of Dhaulagiri (8167m) and Tukuche Peak (6920m). Walkthrough the moraine path and grassy slopes to Jhong Valley. Walking further, we will reach Muktinath where we will stay overnight.
After breakfast we start to drive from Muktinath to Pokhara by jeep .The drive from Muktinath to Pokhara, a distance of roughly 167.7 kilometers, takes about 8 to 10 hours by jeep, passing through towns like Jomsom, Marpha, Tatopani, and Ben
This day we visit around fewa lake and hike up to peace pagoda then back to hotel free time.
We drive back to kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
